The Cardinal Newman football program most certainly proved that they are among the elite when it comes to skilled positions.  QB, RB, REC & LB positions out matched all their opponents with respect to speed, agility, throwing, catching and coverage, enroute to the Catholic Touch Tournament Championship.  Bishop Ryan provided the Cardinals with their greatest competition forcing double overtime in the finals but were unable to seal the deal vs the Cardinal Air Raid attack.  Its interesting that both Newman and BR have the highest number of players on the Jr Tigercats Roster than any other teams.  Congratulations Newman!
